AM TACHELES, Berlin

The AM TACHELES urban quarter is an extraordinary place and space for the very highest standards of residential living, working and shopping in the heart of Berlin. Here, two striking buildings form an impressive gateway that connects Friedrichstrasse with Oranienburger Strasse. AM TACHELES meets the challenges of an ever-changing world of work with a forward-looking concept.

The location offers tenants an innovative work environment and versatile room layouts. When designing the office spaces, a strong emphasis was placed on creating a bright, welcoming open-office concept equipped with a state-of-the-art digital infrastructure.

Strähle’s partition wall systems have been used to divide up the various rental spaces, including the highly soundproof, double-glazed System 3500, which strikes the perfect balance between transparency and discretion. In the conference rooms and quiet zones for video calls and meetings, the flush System 2300 structural glazing system has been used and also acts as a fire barrier in some cases. Decals incorporating tenants’ corporate design make the spaces more private, while adding a decorative element. The black profiles of the partition walls create a bold contrast with the furnishings and give the site a distinctive industrial look from the inside.
